Student Work by Blake Williams (Toronto School of Art, Independent Studio Program, 08/09).

‘The Storm’, filmed in Galveston, Texas in the winter immediately following Hurricane Ike, is a portrait of a monumental collision of nature and man-made structure, illustrated via a ghostlike presence of lights and silhouettes. Blake completed the video as part of the Independent Studio Program and the Introduction to Final Cut Pro course at the Toronto School of Art in 2008/2009, in which I was his Advisor and Instructor respectively.
